At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, McLaren unveiled the concept version of the track-only iteration of the Senna dubbed the Senna GTR. The production Senna GTR unveiled two years later has a different bodywork from the concept, with a different wing setup, toned-down aerodynamics, and utilizes a dual-clutch race transmission for faster gear shifts, a revised suspension system and Pirelli racing slicks in order to make it the fastest non-Formula One vehicle McLaren has ever created for faster lap times. Built from 2003 to 2006 only 1270 units left the factory. The last supercar of PORSCHE with a fully naturally aspirated engine. The naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V10 engine, which was designed for racing. Producing 450 kW (612 PS) of power at 8,000 rpm and with a top speed of over 330 km/h (205 mph), the Carrera GT truly set the benchmark.

2015 – PORSCHE – 918 SPYDER Weissach Edition

Internally the car was called „V5“, V stands for PRE-SERIES. The car was therefore tested in the PORSCHE factory. A former test driver travelled a lot with it and luckily, he was allowed to take photos.

This is the only 959 test car with comprehensive photographic documentation!

The car has a lot to tell, because it was in Sweden, it was at the North Cape, at the Nürburgring, in the Contidrome, in Nardo, in Ehra-Lessien etc. It never had a roll cage, so it was not taken for the tough tests, because one has always needed a 959 to show customers. That’s why this particular 959 was driven by Dr. Ferdinand Piëch himself!
