Ken Miles was highly frustrated caused by the robustness of the Porsche Spyder series cars. All these cars were built tough to finish European endurance races, but this toughness added weight For America sprints, Miles sought lightness, first with his Cooper-Porsche in the early 50ies. This car was continuously developed by him and carries some of the most interesting technical advances of its time.

The guarantee card confirms that this beautiful Ferrari 512 BBi was delivered to the 1st owner by Ferrari importer AUTO BECKER Düsseldorf in December 1982.

The old German vehicle registration documents also confirm regular de-registration over the winter months as well as its further owner history. The service history is also completely traceable, right through to the major service including changing of the timing belt, which was recently carried out in the official FERRARI workshop. The odometer reading is currently 16,100 km (read).
