Der Porsche 911 (997) Carrera GTS wurde als leistungsstärkere Variante neben Carrera & Carrera S ab 2009 angeboten. Die Technischen Daten des Carrera GTS überzeugten durch eine Leistung von 300 kW (408 PS) bei 7300/min und 420 Nm bei 4200/min aus 3800 cm³ Hubraum.
Im Design unterschied sich der Carrera-GTS von den anderen Modellen durch eine zusätzliche schwarz lackierte Bugspoilerlippe, geänderte Kühllufteinlässe in der Bugverkleidung, eine geänderte Seitenschwellerverkleidung und um eine an der Hinterachse gegenüber dem Carrara S, 44 mm breitere Karosserie.
Serienmäßig erhielt dieses Modell 19″-Räder mit einem Zentralverschluss, wie er auch im Motorrennsport eingesetzt wird.

The Porsche 911 (997) Carrera GTS was offered as a more powerful variant in addition to Carrera & Carrera S from 2009.
The technical data of the Carrera GTS impressed with an output of 300 kW (408 hp) at 7300 rpm and 420 Nm at 4200 rpm from 3800 ccm engine.
The design of the Carrera GTS differed from the other models by an additional black painted spoiler lip, modified cooling air inlets in the bow fairing, a modified side sill panel and an at the rear opposite the Carrara S, 44 mm wider body.
As standard, this model has 19 „wheels with a central lock as used in motor racing.
